It's a fun show for anyone that's entered the work place and had to struggle to survive. A first since I was a tween about a million years back.Īrt & Animation = 9/10 beautiful art and smooth animation that isn't afraid to change to fit the mood.įun Factor = 9/10 I laughed harder at this than I did full on comedies. Voice acting = 10/10 I don't usually notice this but Miyano, Mamoru (voicing Iketeru) was amazing and his laugh was so infectious it had me cackling over d*ck jokes. ![]() Story = 9/10 Always funny and weird but relatable.Ĭharacters = 10/10 Uramichi is the most relatable to me but the other side characters are both likeable and fun. It's very much tied to the voice actor's performance. If anything it's funnier because he isn't a joke character but rather your grumpy, jaded uncle that everyone avoids during the holiday.ĭo yourself a favor and watch the original Japanese with subs otherwise you'll miss out on Iketeru's joke. ![]() It is also not afraid to turn Uramichi into the universe's punching bag for the sake of a joke. If anything most of the humor comes from a grown man just blurting this out to pre-schoolers or getting their VERY honest response. ![]() The show doesn't pull any punches in regards to "adulting" and is very clear about their being forces outside of your control that you have to bow before or they'll break you. And is as cynical and jaded as humanely possible why still trying to keep that smile pasted on. Uramichi is a 31 gymnast currently working as a presenter for a kids show.
